TRAINEESHIP ON AN INLAND BARGE OR SEAGOING VESSEL

It’s just that bit different: a career on the water as a sailor, helmsman or even captain. Are you looking for a versatile traineeship where you can learn a lot from an experienced crew? The Volharding Group is an authorised training company and offers a unique opportunity to learn all the ins and outs from a crew with over 30 years of fleet experience. You have the chance to develop and grow with us, even after your traineeship.

In addition to a good work placement allowance, the board and lodgings on the barge or coaster are fully covered. You are on board for one week and then on shore for one week. A pattern of two weeks on, two weeks off is also negotiable.

We are looking for trainees who have a hands-on mentality and are keen to learn. You are fluent in English (German is an advantage, not a must), are enthusiastic, understand what customer service means and see every day as a new adventure. If you fit this profile, send your CV and covering letter to HR@volhardinggroup.com today and who knows – you might be sailing on one of our barges or coasters soon!
