Our fleet
Our fleet consists of a large number of barges and coasters which is continuously expanding. There are currently 21 inland barges and 4 seagoing vessels sailing under Volharding’s flag.
TONNAGES
Our transportation tonnages vary from 800 dwt to 4431 dwt. In 2024, three more inland barges, that can each transport approximately 3000 dwt, will be added to our fleet.
Fleet list
The majority of our fleet comes from our acquisition of Koole Terminals in July 2022. That was also the foundation of Volharding, as part of the Volharding Group. The crews stayed the same after the acquisition, and therefore they have a lot of experience with these barges and coasters, and expertise of the products being transported.

Sailing coverage by inland and marine navigation
Our inland barges and seagoing vessels sail to various places. In addition to the FARAGD area (the Netherlands and Belgium), we also sail to Germany, Switzerland, Britain, France and Scandinavia.
