The vegoil chain
We offer various services in inland and marine shipping. Volharding transports all kinds of products that are part of the vegoil chain (both food and feed). The fact that we have operations both at sea and inland lets us transport all our cargoes in a streamlined way. There are no gaps in the fulfillment of your transport requests. It is faster and easier than ever to get from inland navigation to the processing plant.

Stringent regulations
The complexity of transporting food and feed products naturally requires that we comply with a large number of regulations. This type of transport is after all a tricky business and the rules for food-related products are strict and tight. Washing and cleaning are for instance more labour-intensive than for other sectors and require a lot of attention. We are experts in all these subareas and in order to keep the quality of our services at the highest standard, we have compiled an extensive Volharding manual.
Mineral oils, CPP and biofuels
Additionally, we have tankers that can transport mineral oils, clean petroleum products and biofuels such as petrol, diesel, kerosene and naphtha.
Our barges and coasters are extremely suitable for transporting used cooking oil and POME. You can also rely on our expertise in this type of transportation and we will meet all the safety and legislation requirements related to this industry.
Collecting washing water from persistent floaters
Together with our waste partner CIMS Renewables, we also take care of the transportation and processing of washing water from persistent floaters (category Y) and various fats. This is how we can unburden every customer throughout the chain.
