Volharding Shipyard Werkendam, part of the Volharding Group, has an impressive 5030 m² fitting-out quay suitable for many types of vessels. With a quay length of 187 metres and two tower cranes, we can accommodate up to three vessels at the same time.

INSPECTIONS AND PRESERVATION
Regular maintenance is essential for your vessels’ certifications. Volharding Shipyard Werkendam ensures the highest quality for all maintenance projects and the associated processes and certificates.
Our skilled team is on hand to provide expert (preventive and/or necessary) maintenance of your inland barges and small marine vessels. We conduct thorough inspections according to all required standards and regulations. Should repairs be necessary, we will carry these out for you. Clear and honest communication is important to prevent any unwelcome surprises during repairs and routine maintenance. Therefore, we always operate with complete transparency during the entire process, keeping you informed about costs and progress.
We also offer preservation services for your vessel, helping to protect it from wear and prolong its lifespan. The application of an antifouling coating also helps maintain your vessel’s speed and reduces fuel waste.
